This quick child safety tip comes from something I just experienced. I wanted to share it in case anyone else has ever overlooked this. As I was babysitting for my niece I was sitting on the floor playing with the babies who are one and two years old. I looked across the room and noticed a plastic bag on the floor. The first thing that entered my mind was if I would have turned my back for just a few minutes one of the babies could have easily put the bag over their head a suffocated! With that being said, I went on a mission to figure out where the bag came from and how we could have overlooked it. I finally figured out it was the packaging their cloth toy blocks are stored in. With all the hustle and bustle of getting the babies settled in and playing, nobody thought to put the plastic bag in a safe place. I decided to share this because I figure if it can happen to me it can happen to someone else. I just wanted to give a quick heads up.
