byIt's very important for children to learn at a young age how to pretend and develop their imaginations. Pretend play builds social and emotional skills, thinking skills, and nurtures the imagination. One of the most popular types of pretend play are play kitchens. Children love to watch Mom or Dad in the kitchen, and so many times they want to help. What better way for your child to open their imaginations and thinking skills than with a play kitchen. I have a girl and a boy and their play kitchen was one of their favorite toys. They both enjoyed it and would play for hours.
Our children cooked my husband and I many pretend meals and cupcakes! We also
attended quite a few tea party's. It was so cute to listen to them as they
would talk while they were cooking. There are many styles of play kitchen's
available. There are play kitchen's made of wood or plastic that are very
realistic with microwaves, ovens, sinks, stoves,telephones and so much more all
in one piece or wood sets with refrigerators, stoves, sinks, and cabinets that
the pieces are sold separately. Play kitchens come in a variety of pastels,
primary colors or natural wood tones. Your son or daughter will develop their
imaginations and pretend play skills with the work and effort that have been
put in the construction of the wonderful play kitchens that are available.
